Driving up a road littered with fallen trees Tyler got to the parking area to hike down to this stunning waterfall. After climbing down the trail holding on to make-shift rope ladders and roots he approached the waterfall to shoot.
Waterfalls can be difficult to photograph different than the "normal". Tyler likes to abandon that style of thinking and search out a shot he will be pleased with.
He loved the way the greens and yellows are accented with the fine streams of water cutting their way down the slope of this waterfall. Shooting this way you can loose the immense size of the waterfall but you are rewarded with an abstract shot no one has seen before! If you look closely you can see that what appears to be moss on the rock is actually plants helping give the image scale.
Emerald Curtain is available as a limited edition of 400 and more information on purchasing options and sizes can be found by clicking on an image or here.
